We are very pleased to announce that we have now rescheduled this year’s First Holy Communion Masses as follows:

Saturday, 15 August 2020:

• 10:00 am – Group 1
• 1:00 pm – Group 2
• 2:00 pm – Group 3
• 4:00 pm – Group 4

Sunday, 16 August 2020:

• 2:00 pm – Group 5
• 3:00 pm – Group 6

All of the First Holy Communion Masses will be at St Teresa’s. The Masses will be live streamed and recorded. You will be able to download a copy of the recording from the parish website.

Each child will be allowed a maximum of eight guests to allow for social distancing. The Masses will be very simple (e.g., without any hymns, etc.) in compliance with the guidelines from the Diocese of Westminster. Also in accordance with instructions from the diocese,the children will only receive the Host and not the Precious Blood.

We will have short rehearsals a week before the FHC Masses (details will be emailed to parents nearer the date).

For those unable to make the dates above, we will try to arrange another date in September.

We apologise for the restrictions that the pandemic has made necessary, but we  are working hard to ensure that the children’s First Holy Communion will still be a memorable and meaningful event.
