Holy Hour For The Dignity of Human Life: Sunday 19th April, 4.30pm, St. Teresa’s Church

A Holy Hour has been arranged to take place at 5.30pm, Rome time, and 4.30pm in the UK this Sunday, during the Spring Plenary of the Bishops’ Conference of England and Wales. It is hoped that parishes across the country will arrange Holy Hours at the same time to unite in prayer with the Bishops. This land faces the threat of Assisted Suicide becoming legal and attempts are being made to make abortion easier – even up to the age of birth. Pro-life groups (which are charities without any Government funding) face huge legal costs trying to push back on potential new laws. They are up against abortion providers who receive forms of funding and have substantial amounts of money, in comparison, to secure their legal representation.

What we have is the power of prayer! If you cannot physically make it to St. Teresa’s at this time, please join us on the live stream or pray at home during this time – or when suits you. The important thing is that you please find a way to set aside some time for prayer, this weekend, and pray for a culture which respects the sanctity of Human life – from conception to natural death. We are the voice of unborn babies and those too vulnerable to speak up against choices that could be made to end their lives, via Assisted Suicide. Many thanks for your prayer action in this vital matter! God bless you!
