Pilgrimage to Westport and Knock: June 15th to June 19th 2020

Fr Dominic
Parish Priest

The idea of a parish pilgrimage is a very old one and one that, over the years, I have been very enthusiastic about. To have a group of parishioners growing in knowledge and love of say, Rome, Lourdes, Fatima, the Holy Land or Knock is very inspirational. To celebrate Mass in very special locations with the intentions of our Parish and parishioners uppermost in our minds is truly awesome.

This particular pilgrimage to Knock and Westport, Ballintubber and Kylemore Abbeys, Croagh Patrick, and the Sky Road is a wonderful mixture of holy sites and beautiful scenery. We will be based in a hotel in Westport which is itself a very beautiful town. At the back of both churches there are itineraries and booking forms.

The company we are travelling with are Pax Travel and I have used them many times before and I trust them. The price quoted will be kept until the end of November. Please have a chat about it, see if it is feasible for you. It would be great to have a good group of parishioners travelling, praying and enjoying ourselves together.

Certificate of Catholic Practice

New Procedures for those wishing to apply to the Parish Priest for Certificate of Catholic Practice: These will be operational from September 2019 and anyone who, over the next few years, needs to have a certificate signed needs to have a card.
