Green was very much the colour of the evening on 15 March when more than 100 parishioners celebrated St Patrick’s Day in the inimitable Borehamwood way. Sasha and her crew served up a traditional yet creative Irish feast which included the classic bread and stew, followed by an immensely popular dessert of ice cream that rather resembled a smiling Irisman with a green hat. Of course, the night wouldn’t have been complete without some Irish music and a raffle draw.
